The Watchdog System consists of two key hardware components, the active RF tag and the receiver. Items to be located are tagged. The receivers are strategically placed to pick up the tag signals and send the data to the server over Ethernet. Using the browser window, the user can inquire about the location of an item from any networked PC or over the Internet. An example of the location screen shot is shown below.
